 Veterinarian:  

 Dr. Brenda Buck, DVM

 

Dr. Buck graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in January 2005.  She completed her clinical year of study at Cornell University before going on to complete her internship.  She has worked in both emergency and general practice over the past 8 years.  Dr. Buck has a strong interest in surgery and emergency medicine.  She finds building relationships with clients and their pets to be particularly rewarding and strives to work with each client to be a partner in determining the best course of treatment for the pet.  Dr. Buck shares her home with her husband Brian, 3 boxers, Logan Chesney, Liam James and Lydia Cosette, and a very cantankerous cat named Tristen Bernard.  When not working, Dr. Buck enjoys riding her horse Lily and hiking with her dogs.

 

 

 

 

 

Practice Manager:   

Julie Standish

 

Julie is a graduate of SUNY Brockport with a background in recruitment and investigation.  She has worked in veterinary management since 2007 and has a strong desire to help families and their pets in need of medical care.  Julie owns 2 rescues,  Abby aka "Princess", a chow/golden retriever mix and Syler aka "Velcro", a border collie mix.   Julie's interests include world travel with her boyfriend, coffee and movies with friends, wine tasting, boating, hot yoga and health/fitness.

 

 

 

Veterinary Technician:

Samantha Welter

 

Samantha graduated from Medaille College in 2013 with a Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Technology but has been working in the veterinary field since 2008.  She continues to work towards her Bachelors of Science degree in Veterinary Technology.  Samantha has a sincere interest in providing the best care possible for pets and their families.  When not working, Samantha enjoys hiking, drawing/painting, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.  Samantha has had many pets throughout the years and currently has four cats:  Polly, Fletcher, Clay and Carly. 

 

 

 

Veterinary Technician:

Hillary Cardin

Hillary is a graduate of Medaille College with an Associates degree in Veterinary Science.  Hillary has been working in Animal Health Care since 2008.  Hillary is owned by her American Bulldog Issac "Sumo" and her 2 cats Camper and Waka Superfly.  When  not working, Hillary enjoys weightlifting, running, and having coffee and wine with friends.

Veterinary Assistant:

Teri Willard 

Teri has been a Veterinary Assistant for the past 8 years and is currently attending Genesee Community College.  Teri has a strong interest in Pet Nutrition and enjoys educating clients on proper diets for their pets.  When not at work, Teri enjoys dance, music and concerts (especially Dave Matthews) and spending time with her husband Jeff.  Teri has 3 pets, Serre, is a 9 yr old ragdoll/siamese mix; Tayln, is a 10 yr old lab/pit mix and Tobin;  is a 1 yr old border collie/beagle mix.

 

 

 

Veterinary Assistant:

Scott Heindl

 

Scott graduated from SUNY Oswego in 2002 with a degree in Biology and a concentration in Zoology.  Scott spent 2 years at the Prospect Park Zoo in Brooklyn, NY and 6 years in Baltimore, MD as a Herpetologist at The National Aquarium.  Prior to Animal Hospital of Rochester, Scott was a Vet Tech Assistant for Rochester Animal Services.  Scott's hobbies include hiking, climbing, gardening and watching UFC.  Scott has a 4 year old American Staffordshire Terrier named Meatball that he rescued from RAS as well acquired "kitty" as a housewarming gift from friends!


 

 

 

Veterinary Assistant/Customer Service Rep:

Maddie Orcutt

 

Maddy is currently an undergraduate student at Rochester Institute of Technology, studying Biology in pursuit of a career in Veterinary Medicine.   Maddy owns a black and white cat named Daisy and a Chesapeake Bay Retriever named Lucy.  When not in school or at work, Maddy enjoys dancing, getting her nails done, horseback riding and watching movies.  Maddy hopes to one day open her own practice specializing in physical rehabilitation.   

Customer Service Rep:

Jaymi Seitz 

Jaymi is planning to attend Medaille College to obtain her degree in Veterinary Technology.  She has a huge passion and love for animals.  Jaymi has a pug/shihtzu mix, Niles Edward as well as a cat named Stevie.  In her spare time, she loves to hang out with her daughter, family and friends.  She also enjoys reading/writing, watching movies, attending concerts, visiting local breweries, snowmobiling, camping and just enjoying life to the fullest!

Kennel Attendant

Lindsay Jansen

 

Lindsay attended Liberty University where she studied Psychology.  She plans to continue her education and graduate with a degree in Sociology.  Lindsay has owned and cared for a variety of animals since she was young with hopes and aspirations of one day opening her own animal shelter.  In her spare time, Lindsay enjoys reading, writing, singing and learning new things (particularly in relation to Astronomy).  She has a one 9 year old cat named Sprite.
